I finally took the plunge on 13th May 2011. Always wanted to get an iMac ever since back in Brisbane where everyone around me was using a Macbook. The first time I got an Apple product was back in December 2008. It was the iPhone 3G.

Purchased the iMac on 13th May 2011, and received it at my doorstep on 18th May 2011. I had bowling practice on 18th May 2011 till about 10pm, so by the time I got home, there wasn't enough time to set it up. I left the setup for the following day. :)

Then came 19th May 2011, not only do I need to setup the iMac, I needed to shift my PC to my sister's room and my sister's PC to my dad's room. All that shifting (plus cleaning!) took an hour and a half. It was tedious! All the carrying was done by me.. not to mention I had an aching arm due to bowling training the night before.

After all the hard work, it was time to perform a mini opening ceremony for my iMac. I had to take some pictures of that special moment! :D

It was then time to set it up! Feeling very excited with that big white box, I immediately opened the box and saw a beauty inside it. :) The 27 inch iMac is big! Bigger than I expected it to be. Got the help from dad to lift it onto my table.

Really pleased with the iMac. I'm really going to be using this beauty for at least 3 years and I think Apple will always be my choice of desktops or laptops from now on. :D

In preparation for the iMac 27" which I happily ordered, I had to pack my table on a public holiday. I'm really excited about it! I was seriously hoping it would arrive today as it is a public holiday and I'll be home to spend time with it. Too bad, it didn't arrive today and it looks like it is set to arrive here tomorrow. Won't be able to spend time with it tomorrow as I've bowling practice till about 10pm. Talking about bowling practice, hope I don't embarrass myself again tomorrow. :(

Finally! It's today. Moses, Ron, Kevin & Bosco concert Live in Singapore! Very happy that it was held at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS). That got me a 10% discount off my tickets. I didn't purchase the tickets immediately and had to take the 2nd category seats which were okay but would have been better if I've gotten the 1st category seats!

So the day finally came. 30th April 2011! RWS was packed till we couldn't have dinner at any dining outlets. We settled for only BreadTalk bread. So pathetic right?

All started with these tickets. :)

Went in the convention centre at about 7.50pm and it was slowly getting packed. The 1st category seats were slowly getting filled too.

The concert started only at about 8.20pm. Everyone was so excited! Fan screams were all over the place.

The atmosphere was fantastic and it was a great experience for me (since it was my first time attending a concert!). The Ron Ng fan next to me was like blowing her whistle till my ears went deaf from it. It took 2 days for it to recover!

Ron's stage presence was the best while Kevin's singing was the clear winner of all four. Moses can't sing! Why is he even in this concert. LOL! One lucky Bosco fan had the chance to go up the stage while Bosco sang a song while holding her hands. He even gave her a Minnie Mouse & Rose. All four of them came down to mingle with the crowd, many people went forward to try to grope them. But, I remained calm in my seat. :)

I'm gonna miss the concert so much! Hope they hold another concert here in Singapore again!

Last minute decision to have dinner together with Sheena & Jamie. It was because of Sheena's tweet that she is craving for korean BBQ. But, due to not enough petrol, and Jamie wanted to get something from Apple, we decided to try this shabu shabu restaurant called Shabuya at vivo! No regrets on this decision. The meats were awesome max! Only bad point is there, they don't serve normal ice water. You have to buy their EVIAN water (looks very nice in a glass bottle) for $5.90!

How can we not have sashimi?

Set for 2, $68, with additional belly pork. HEAVEN.
Oh! the sauce is nice too, because it is sour (I think there's vinegar!).

Love the weather in Macau! Like 13-15 degrees. Colddd!

Super short holiday with an addition of losing $$$ at the casinos. Suay max. Ohh! And 5 of the adults got food poisoning over at Zhuhai which kind of spoilt part of the holiday! Can't wait to go for another holiday with everyone! Please please let it happen again. :)

Horrible week I had... was sick for the whole week, till now. :( It must have been the beef from the Korean BBQ! Blame myself for being greedy! :( I SHALL NOT GET TEMPTED BY BEEF AGAIN!!!

Mum's coming over next Friday! Woo! How time flies. I just received a graduation notification from UQ.. to confirm my graduation date, name, tickets etc... My graduation is on 22nd July 2009, 2pm! Exciting! But sadly, there goes my uni life, VERY QUICKY. VERY VERY VERY SAD. :(

Amazing... I actually did quite well for my mid semester exam. Final exam timetable is going to be out this Friday, 8th May. Please give me good dates so that cousins can come visit me after my exam! :)

Woah.. Mid semester break is here! HOLIDAY!! WOOO!

First and foremost, HAPPY AND BLESSED EASTER!

I was actually very busy the past few weeks... had lots of coding to be done for my FYP. Stayed in school till 10plus for a few nights. My friends and I tried out the safety bus in school HAHA. EXCITING. LOL Then this week was busy preparing for Easter. Monday for penitential service, then Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter today.

17 Again is out in Aussie already! I'm going to catch it on Tuesday. :) YAY!!!

Will be having a mid semester exam on 27th, so the holiday is actually for us to study for our mid semester exam and to catch up on our projects/assignments.

YAY! Time is passing by really quick.... Mum will be coming to Aussie soon. :) HOHOHO!

Back in Brissy! Didn't sleep through the whole flight. SIA cheated my feelings. In the month of February, there is supposed to be High School Musical 3! My flight is on the 28th and it's the last day of February, and they've already changed the movies to the month of March. They were showing Twilight.

Came back to Altitude and slept all the way till 6pm.

Three and a half months of summer holidays zoomed pass like that. Will be on the plane back to Brisbane in few hours time. Back to Brissy for the next 5 months. Time, please pass as fast like the summer holidays.

Happy New Year! :) Welcome 2009!

Went over to my cousin's place to usher in 2009! Stayed there till 2am. We were quite bored actually, until we had to play some lame games to entertain ourselves.

2008 have been a memorable one for me. Graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic in May, then going over to The University of Queensland in July. It was actually a last minute decision to go overseas to study. But heck, it was alright. Learnt to live myself, cook for myself and clean up the house myself. Made new friends. Hopefully we can be friends even after we leave Aussie! :)

Oh did I say I just graduated from NP in May 2008? And soon, I'm going to graduate from UQ in July 2009. I'm sad to say that I could only enjoy like 1 year of university life! SO SAD CAN! :( I want to study and not work. I want money to drop down from the sky like no one's business. Wonder what else is installed for me in 2009.

Lets hope 2009 will be a better year for all! And not forgetting that everyone will overcome the financial crisis. Thanks to everyone who made my 2008 so memorable and enjoyable. 2009 will be a better year! :)

Brrrrrrrrr! It's super cold in Brissy now. This morning, smoke came out when we talk! Super cool yeah! HAHA! And to make it worst, I had to wear slippers around because I have an ingrown nail on my big toe! So my toes were practically frozen. LOL!

School's fine so far, nothing exciting. Computer Networks lecture on Tuesday was the most boring lecture I ever had. Gosh, 2 hours!

Been in Queensland for 1 week already! Had orientation this week, which was just talks and more talks. Will be starting school officially next week! Can't wait for it. :)

I'm satisfied with the place I'm staying now. It's nice and many of my friends are staying here too except for Rachel who's staying at Union college. :( But, we can meet anytime in school anyway or she can come over anytime she wants.

Just came back from the casino, and it's boring in there and everywhere I go, I had to stop to present them my cute passport! OH I HAVE A SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS PASSPORT CASING which some SQ staff at the counter who was helping me with the baggage said it is so cute! SEE I TOLD YOU SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS IS CUTE!!!!!!!

AND YES I finally got a bolster! :D

10th June 2008 (Tuesday)
Woke up super duper early, like about 5am. Washed up, bathed and got ready to go to Changi Airport. Our flight was at 8.30am. We made our way to the airport at about 6.15am.

Our flight was delayed. Thanks to some people who checked in but didn't board the plane! So we had to wait for them to find his luggage and transport it off the plane. The plane only took off at about 9am.

Off we go to Hong Kong! :)

Landed late due to the delay, and guess what? Another delay. The pilot of the plane couldn't park properly! The plane stopped, and like got in the "parking slot" and everyone stood up, got their stuffs from the top cabin, and "lined up" to get down the plane. At this moment, the pilot made an announcement "Please return to your seats, put all your hand luggage up, and fasten your seat belts." Apparently the cabin crew told us that the pilot didn't park in the parking slot correctly and the door and the "thing to connect to the door for us to walk out" can't connect together. LOL! After some time, he finally got into his parking lot.

Hurried down, cleared immigration, took our luggages, met Ee and Uncle Yap at Hong Kong International Airport. Checked in at my cousin's apartment, and off we go to London at Nathan Road for dim sum. After dim sum, made our way to Victoria Peak for the Wax Museum.

11th June 2008 (Wednesday)
About 11am, made our way to Citygate. Lots of outlets were located there. Adidas outlet, Nike outlet, Esprit outlet, Puma outlet, Roxy Outlet.. etc.. Bought my stuffs mainly from Adidas and Nike. :) Had dim sum lunch again at Federal Palace Restaurant. Headed back to cousin's apartment to put down the stuffs, and then to Tsim Sha Tsui. Had our dinner at "Tang Chao" where they served good deserts too. :)

After that, went over to Langham Place then Ladies Street. Didn't buy anything.

12th June 2008 (Thursday)
Went over to Causeway Bay for shopping and lunch. After that headed over to "Flower Market Street" for shopping again. Bought a Spongebob T-shirt from there! Happy kid! :) At night, went over to Olympian City 2 for dinner supposingly, but there was nothing nice to eat there. But, I ended up in Royal Sporting House. Bought more Adidas and Nike tops, and was eyeing on a pair of Adidas shoe. :)

Went to some Fish Soup shop for dinner near cousin's apartment. It was super good, I love their fish fingers

First thing in the morning, we went down to Causeway Bay to get the Wife biscuits. Then had lunch at a fishball noodle shop. Love their Cold Lemon Water, also known as "dong ling sui".
After that headed down to "Flower Market Street" again for more shopping on request of Mom and Ee. I was so restless there, cause they had to go in every shop... and I'll be like carrying bags and bags of stuffs and waiting outside the shop. Happier part is that we headed over to Olympian City 2 again, and got myself that pair of Adidas shoe! :) Then had KFC for dinner. Reached back to the apartment and realized that my shoe had some defects. Packed our stuffs, I hate that process. =X

14th June 2008 (Saturday)
Went back to Olympian City 2 to change my shoe, and lucky they had another pair of my size. :) Opps, then bought 2 more Adidas top. Walked around aimlessly there, and we found a nice dim sum restaurant that we had on 11th June, known as Federal Palace Restaurant. Ate till I was damn full. :) Walked home, webcam-ed with Vernetta... heard her Prince barking so loudly, and she told me Prince swallowed fish bones!!! WAHAHA!!! Okay bathed then went back to chat with her. Did some last minute packing up. Felt hungry all of a sudden, so Ee and I decided to go down and buy some Fishball soup to eat. After eating, it was time to say goodbye. :(

Left cousin's apartment at 5.30pm, our flight was 8.15pm. We went there early to get our donuts and to have ample time to shop at the Disney shop! :) Bought lots of Disney stuff there again. LOL!

Our plane got delayed to 8.35pm, due to the earlier plane arriving late because of bad weather. I love SIA, except for its food. :( The cabin crew was very nice and friendly! Their service is really good. BUT, I hate their food, cause they gave us either beef noodles or some chicken pasta. And I don't want to eat beef (cause everytime I eat beef, I'll fall sick) and I don't like pasta! Same for my mom and sister, so we told the cabin crew and they went to check for what other choices. In the end, they gave us chicken chop with some potato thing. Not bad, only thing that it was breast meat. Oh, and it had smoked salmon too. :)

Graduation on 27th May 2008, Tuesday. Went to collect my XXS graduation gown on Monday, and woah I still can't get over how hilarious it looks on me. Wahahaha!

Happy Easter! :)

I was pretty busy last week. It all started on Thursday. Went for Maundy Thursday 8.30pm mass with RCIY. Later on after the mass, they went for the night prayers. So my mom and I went church visiting. We went St Joseph at Bukit Timah, then Holy Spirit at Thomson, and finally Novena at Novena. LOL! By the time we reached home, it was already past midnight. Next day was Good Friday. It was a day for fasting and abstinence, so I only had 1 slice of tuna sandwich. Mass started at 5pm, followed by stations of the cross. By the time the stations of the cross ended, I almost fainted. Guess I was too hungry!

Went for Easter Vigil last night at St Mary of the Angels. My sister and I went there early to reserve a good seat, which has a good view, to be able to see the whole baptism clearly. Later on, my other family members and cousins came. We were there to support our aunty, who was getting baptised that night. Besides supporting my aunty, I was also there to support the whole RCIY! :)

Easter Vigil mass started at 9pm. I enjoyed every single bit of it, although it was a 3 hour long mass.

Mass ended slightly past midnight, and I was going around wishing my RCIY friends Happy Easter, and Congratulations! After that, my whole family (almost 15 people) went for supper. Slept at nearly 4am. We're having an Easter BBQ tomorrow to celebrate my aunty's baptism and Easter tomorrow! YAY! :)

Was really scared for my results, maybe because it's my graduating semester. Woke up at 5am, but it wasn't out yet. Checked back later at 6am, and it was OUT. Passed all the subjects, with one AD (distinction). Really happy for the distinction. :)

Now awaiting admission to university, I'm praying that I'll be able to get into a local university. Please keep me in your prayers too! :)

Last paper finally over today. Which means I'm unofficially graduated from NP! 3 years in NP went by super fast (and I've got to say it was a well spent 3 years!) and now I'll be having a long vacation! Good Bye Ngee Ann Polytechnic! :)

Vernetta's birthday tomorrow (23rd February) and Vanessa's birthday on Monday (25th February). Happy Birthday Cousins! :)

Rite of Election

Saturday was the Rite of Election and it was considered a big event for the RCIA and RCIY catechumens as they will officially become elects before their baptism and confirmation on Easter. St Mary of the Angels was the host church to host the city and west districts this year! Archbishop Nicholas Chia was there to grace the whole mass.

After the Rite of Election:

Exams will officially begin tomorrow (19th February 2008) for me. I've two papers this semester, and the last paper will end on Friday, 22nd February 2008. This means I will be unofficially graduating from Ngee Ann Polytechnic this Friday!

Wish me luck for my exams! :)

Day 2 of Chinese New Year

After Jurong, everyone came my house! Cousins suggested going down the playground as they wanted to play the swing. We had a blast at the playground! :)

We then headed to my aunt's place for dinner. Cousins and I had fun there too! Waiting till about 12.30am for daddy and uncles to finish off their mahjong game. What a blast we had during CNY! :)

Reunion dinner last night was okay. Food was good, but company was bad. Had the reunion dinner with my dad's side, so it was totally... eeks!

Nothing special happened today. As usual, visit my grandmother (dad's side), then mom's side.Took some pictures here and there.

Day out with Celebrities!

Meet uncle and cousins at newton at 2.00pm. When we reached, we saw Pierre Png and Andrea D'Cruz. They went for lunch at newton circus first before gathering. 2.30pm, all of us gathered with the 6 celebs, and up the bus we go.

First stop: Carrefour @ Suntec! The place was super crowded as usual, all we had to do was stand around. Felt super funny. When we were about to leave, the celebs wanted to buy Royce chocolate, so we headed to Royce chocolate before hopping into the bus. The trip in the bus was super funny! Since they bought lots of chocolates, they passed the chocolates around, ate a lot. WOW! The chocolates were nice. :)

Second stop: Giant @ Tampines! Same thing happened, just stood around and stone. Left there at 4plus. Again in the bus, the celebs kept snacking! They just kept throwing us the packets of tidbits and we just catch catch catch and ate ate ate.

Third stop: Sheng Shiong @ Somewhere near Tampines too. They were super funny. 30mins till the 4D shop closes! So together with my cousins, we went to help them buy their 4D! They were a super nice bunch to hang out with. Super funny!

Forth stop: Giant @ Parkway Parade! The bus journey was super funny. I think I enjoyed the bus journeys the best. They joked around, and it was super duper guper funny! :)

After the whole event ended, we went to Terence Cao's restaurant (HEY! HEY! HotPot) for dinner. He gave all of us a treat and the food was super good. Had steamboat and he ordered a lot of food man! Ate till super full. Before leaving, we had a group photo shoot and then said goodbye!

Just applied for SMU, lots of things to fill up and had to pay $15 for registration somemore!

5th Choice: Bachelor of Accountancy

I'm only interested in my first choice, other than that is just to make up the other 4 choices. Waiting for NUS and NTU to open for applications! Hopefully I'll be able to enter one for the three local universities. Its e-learning tomorrow, means no school! :) Time to catch up on all the projects.

It was a busy week for my family & I. All the business started right after my birthday! Cousins came to stay over at my house right from 18th Dec.

18th Dec 2007
Cousins stayed over! We went for penitential service at my church.. had to confess all our sins before Christmas. We went to confess our sins with Fr John-Paul. OMG! It was super fast. No penance needed too. :) After that, came home had supper, laughed, talked and slept. Oh.. one of the reasons Vernetta wanted to stay over at my place is because she wanted to stalk Vincent Ng who stays one floor below me.

19th Dec 2007
Supposed to go swimming with my cousins, but there was a change of plans. We headed to town for lunch and shopping before going back to grandparents house for dinner. Uncle Robert and Aunty Irene came down from KL to attend my grandfather's birthday celebration. That is why my cousins are actually staying in my house. Cause their rooms are being taken! :P
After dinner, went home. Had to edit the seating plan and video. Uncle took soooooo long to send me some additional pictures. In the end, slept at close to 2am.

20th Dec 2007
Woke up super early. Headed to grandparents' house for lunch celebration. Had super a lot of food. :) Later on, cousins followed us back. They went to Jean Yip to style their hair.. waste of money! LOL
Went to NUSS Suntec at about 5pm. It was super hard to get a carpark space there. Parked super far away. Took the lift up and OMG it was a super long distance to walk to NUSS and Suntec was packed with lots of people. After all the walking and embarrassment, we finally reached NUSS. Tested my laptop and stuff, did some finally arrangement of the seating plan.
6.45pm people started coming...... super fun. :)
The whole dinner ended around 12am.

23rd Dec 2007
Brought Uncle Robert & Aunty Irene to Vivocity to shop. Super crowded, super bored, and super tired. Ended up going Swimming Club. Vernetta, Uncle Yap and I went bowling. Uncle Yap is a pro at bowling! He had mostly strikes and spares. :) Played 3 games, ended at around 7.30pm. Went for dinner at the coffee house there, saw Adrian Pang there.

Cousin came over to my house in the morning. Went to Westmall to buy some last minute Christmas presents. Couldn't go swimming.. AGAIN cause it was time to go Ee's house for the Christmas party! :) Ate, talked, played sparkles and snow! 10pm plus headed over to St Mary of the Angels. It was super hot and stuffy instead. Mass ended almost 2am. Headed back to Ee's place for gift exchange, supper and stuffs...
Left Ee's place at close to 4am. Slept only at 5am. WOAH!

Went over Grandparents' house for Christmas Lunch party. Went Cathay for Christmas dinner then home. Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas! :)
